This includes data that is in the public domain or that you have received from any third party, including social media channels.
• Information about any additional passengers you book using your registered STM account. In this situation, the user must confirm that each additional passenger for whom a reservation has been made has consented to have the information you provided to us be shared with us and then shared with the relevant service provider(s).
• If you choose contactless check-in at a hotel, the hotel may require copies of your identification (such as your driver’s license, Aadhar, election card, etc.), self-declaration, and any additional information (such as your date of birth, destination or place of origin, and place of residence) to honor your reservation.
• Copies of your passport, bank statements, original application forms, photos, and any other information that the relevant embassy may need to process your visa application are needed for visa-related services.
• Users may be asked to submit information such as their PAN, passport details, or any other information requested by the service provider while making international reservations under the RBI’s Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS) or any other law.

Such data shall be used exclusively for the previously mentioned, authorized, and legitimate purposes. To provide and facilitate the desired booking, the user is also aware that STM may share this information with the end service provider. STM might not be able to complete the requested booking request if a user chooses not to supply this information.

HOW STM UTILIZES YOUR DATA

For your bookings:

When making a reservation, we may utilize personal information you have supplied and consented to be held by us. Additionally, we might use the traveler’s list information that is accessible through or connected to your account. Device & App History:

Your device permission is required by us for gathering particulars like OS, name, version, network of mobile network, language preference, etc. We maximize your travel reservations experience based on the inputs given by you.

Identity:

With this consent, you allow us to access account information on your mobile device so that we can automatically map user email addresses to provide discounts, cash-back options, and other features.

Location:

By agreeing to this, you allow us to notify you of any current special deals that are available at your location. The Superb Travels website automatically fills in your location, city, and nearby airport as you start using it to make trip plans. It enables us to determine your time zone and give you pertinent information when you travel abroad.

SMS:

If allowed access to SMS, the app can read your SMS to auto-fill or prepopulate ‘OTP’ while making a transaction and to validate your mobile number. This makes for a hassle-free booking experience.

Phone:

To call hotels, airlines, and our customer service centers directly through the app, the app must have access to the phone.

Contacts:

With access to users’ contacts, the app can offer many social features, including sharing your hotel, flight, or vacation with your friends; inviting them to use the app; sending them referral links, etc. Additionally, STM might use this information to suggest hotels that your friends have stayed in. This data will be synced from your phone and stored on our computers.

Device ID:

With this permission, we can ascertain your Android or iOS ID and identify our users perfectly.

This also enables us to know your contact details, and with this, we auto-fill requisite details, which ensures a flawless reservation experience.

Calendar:

This permission allows us to put your travel plan on your calendar.

Camera:

With this permission, users can capture videos to post as video reviews on our app, utilize their camera within the app to submit a new profile photo, and upload an image for sharing hotel reviews. You will also be able to read QR codes for easy UPI payments with this permission.

WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT AND PERMISSION

Users are free to block and unsubscribe from receiving any communication from STM in case you choose not to submit any or all personal information or decline to provide any permission on its website, as covered above at any time.
